Sunglasses in Tennis
Sunglasses offer clear benefits in tennis, but at the professional level they are rarely used during matches. This is not because elite players overlook their value, but because of practical considerations. High-intensity movement can cause sunglasses to shift or fall, sweat can smear or fog lenses and briefly impair vision, and constantly changing light conditions make tinted lenses unreliable. For most professionals, playing without sunglasses provides the most consistent, distraction-free vision under all conditions.
